Welcome to our organization

“DAYA” (Destitute Aged and Young Association), is a voluntary philanthropist non-profit making organization registered under the Societies Act of India with a mission to work for the poorest of the poor both in rural and urban areas in the state of Orissa, one of the most economically backward states of India. DAYA organization was started in 1996. The organization is committed to working among the various groups of poverty stricken and economically backward people, especially intervening in the sectors of child care, women child and destitute empowerment, income generation and vocational guidance, health and education, agricultural extension services and advocacy and environment. The organization is adoptive of a child focused and sustainable strategy for development.
